hai560 high performance multi-stream encoder/decoder is a high performance, low-cost, multimedia ATM and IP network access multiplexer. It adapts multimedia traffic at customer premises, and concentrates video and audio through one physical interface over an ATM or Ethernet-based IP network.
with its robust IP and ATM network interfaces, its integrated wideband multiplexer supporting up to 10 video channels within a single chassis, and its powerful Linux based haiOS operating system, the hai560 will exceed all your requirements for boardroom conferencing, tele-presence, and distance education. Furthermore, it meets the strictest telecom grade certification assuring absolutely consistent performance for many years of continuous operation.
hai560 can be configured with interchangeable A/V compression or network interface blades in both centralized and meshed network topologies, thus allowing true multi-point sessions to be established simply and rapidly using multicast protocols. A/V compression blades provide encoding and/or decoding capabilities with individual channel control through haiOS, thus enabling multi-channel streaming, webcasting, and broadband conferencing simultaneously from a single chassis.
